Renowned Japanese real estate developer Mori Building is known for its innovative approach to urban development. Jakarta Mori Tower marks the company’s first venture in Indonesia and hosts around 15,000 employees and 1,000 guests daily across 58 floors.

Mori Building wanted to deliver a world-class smart office environment focused on health, safety, and innovation. Getronics supported this goal by deploying our Integration Hub with a mobile app, facial access control, visitor management, temperature checking, building access control integration, lift destination control, data centre, network, and security services aligned with international data protection requirements.

Challenge

Mori Building needed a secure smart access model for a landmark tower, with reliable touchless movement for tenants and guests under a demanding launch timeline.

Solution

Getronics deployed Getronics Integration Hub with facial recognition, mobile app support, visitor management, temperature checking, access control integration, lift destination control, data centre, network, and security services.

Results

Jakarta Mori Tower gained safer, faster building access for thousands of daily users, with smart building systems connected into a smoother tenant and visitor experience.

Creating a premium smart access experience at scale

Jakarta Mori Tower was designed as a premium office environment for global tenants in the heart of Jakarta’s business district. Mori Building wanted a world-class smart office experience that supported health, safety, innovation, and smooth daily movement for tenants and guests.

The scale of the tower made that goal demanding. The access model had to support around 15,000 employees and 5,000 guests across 58 floors, without relying on manual checkpoints or conventional access flows that could slow down daily movement. Mori Building also needed the system ready for a rapid greenfield launch, with privacy and data protection requirements built into the solution approach.

Connected access, visitor management, and lift destination control

Getronics deployed Getronics Integration Hub as the foundation for Jakarta Mori Tower’s smart access model. The solution brought together the mobile app, facial access control, and visitor management, giving tenants and guests a touchless route through key access points.

Getronics also integrated the building access control system with lift destination control, so authorised users could move more smoothly from entry to the right floor. The implementation included temperature checking, data centre, network, and security components, with compliance aligned to PDPA and GDPR requirements.

Safer, smoother movement for tenants and guests

Jakarta Mori Tower now has a connected smart building access model that improves daily movement for tenants, guests, and building teams. Facial recognition and temperature checking support a safer entry experience, while visitor management and lift destination control reduce manual steps across the journey.

The project strengthened the tower’s position as a modern, user-focused office destination and created a strong foundation for future smart building services.

“Smart buildings should centre on the people who use them every day. At Jakarta Mori Tower, the goal was to create a safer and more seamless user experience without adding complexity for tenants, visitors, or building staff.

By integrating facial recognition with visitor management, lift management, and access control systems, we helped make these technologies a natural part of the wider building experience.”
