Crédit Agricole Vita S.p.A. is headquartered in Milan and distributes life insurance products through the Crédit Agricole Italia network. As the organisation prepared to enable new key business services, it needed a partner that could deliver a complex Oracle platform within specific schedules while consolidating fragmented IT services into one managed private cloud environment.

Moving from fragmented environments to one trusted platform
Crédit Agricole Vita operates in a sector where reliability, control and compliance shape the quality of every digital service. Before the transformation, its core services were spread across different providers and data centres in Italy. The company needed to consolidate these environments while enabling new key services for the business.
The programme also carried a clear delivery requirement. Crédit Agricole Vita needed a partner that could build a complex Oracle platform within specific schedules, support a private cloud environment and provide cybersecurity services without adding operational complexity.
A managed private cloud built around Oracle, resilience and cybersecurity
Getronics migrated and consolidated business-critical environments onto the Oracle platform, hosted on a managed private cloud infrastructure. The setup brought together dedicated computing, storage and networking resources, giving Crédit Agricole Vita more control over its IT environment.
The service also included robust backup and disaster recovery capabilities, with virtual machines replicated through DRaaS between Getronics data centres in Milan and Paris. Cybersecurity controls were reinforced through SOC monitoring, privileged access management and firewall management, supporting GDPR, ISO 27001 and demanding service levels.

Crédit Agricole Vita now works from a more consolidated IT foundation, with one partner managing core services across a complex cloud environment. The managed private cloud gives the organisation the flexibility to adjust resources as business requirements change, while improving control, maintenance and operational efficiency.
The collaboration also supports long-term service improvement. Getronics now manages more than double the IT environments originally estimated at the start of the Data Centre Rationalisation project, while helping Crédit Agricole Vita generate major cost savings and stronger satisfaction through improved KPI performance.
